Who we are

Deveron Wildland SC054036 was established in 2025. We are a small team but we work with local contractors and have an amazing group of volunteers supporting us to improve the habitats for biodiversity and to bring more people in to enjoy the nature we have here.

Grant Gordon OBE (Chair)

Grant is a philanthropist and social entrepreneur. He co-founded Deveron Wildland, together with his wife Brigitte, as well as chairing Ethos Foundation and serves on the board of a small portfolio of other charities. He also founded and chairs the Cabrach Trust, a community-led regeneration charity, also working in the Upper Deveron Valley.

Brigitte Gordon (Trustee)

Brigitte is a co-founder of Deveron Wildland, and wife of Grant Gordon. With her husband they are part-time residents in the local area.

Claire Gordon (Trustee)

Claire works in research and evaluation in the charity sector. She has a longstanding involvement in supporting Scotland's environment sector through the William Grant Foundation.

Louise McLaren (Ranger)

Louise is the Ranger at Deveron Wildland. She has an MSc in Wildlife Conservation and Management and has previously worked for Highlands Rewilding and the Scottish Wildlife Trust.
